A Stay In The New curated city guide

Browse New Hotels by City Across the U.S.

Stay In The New is the only travel site dedicated entirely to tracking newly opened hotels and hotels opening soon across major U.S. destinations. This Cities page is your starting point — choose any destination above to explore the most recent hotel openings, major renovations, and luxury developments currently under construction in that market.

Every city page on Stay In The New is built around two questions travelers are asking: what hotels just opened, and what's coming next? We cover true new openings — ground-up builds, landmark restorations, and brand debuts — alongside major refreshes where a property has been so thoroughly transformed it deserves a second look. And we hold a firm line: every hotel we feature opened, reopened, or was fully reimagined within roughly the last two years. No older properties dressed up as "new," no aggregator padding — just genuinely current stays worth booking.

Our coverage now spans nearly 40 destinations. Across Florida we track both coasts — from Orlando's Epic Universe resort boom and Miami's luxury towers to the Gulf beaches of Tampa, Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach, Sarasota, Naples, Destin, and Panama City Beach, plus Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and the Florida Keys. Along the Southeast coast we cover Savannah, Charleston, Hilton Head Island, Myrtle Beach, and the Outer Banks, alongside Atlanta, Nashville, Pigeon Forge, New Orleans, and Gulf Shores.

Our Texas coverage is now complete across all four major markets — Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio — ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In the West and Southwest we track Scottsdale, Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Palm Springs. And in the Northeast, Midwest, and beyond we cover New York City, Washington, DC, Chicago, and our first international market, Cabo San Lucas. Each market was chosen based on new hotel development activity, traveler search volume, and the strength of the pipeline — we only build a city page when there's genuinely new content worth curating.

We're still expanding city-by-city as new openings are confirmed. Markets currently in development include Pensacola Beach, Key West, Virginia Beach, Raleigh, Seattle, Boston, Philadelphia, and more. If you're planning a trip to a city not yet listed — or if you know of a newly opened hotel we haven't covered — use the Submit a Hotel link in the navigation. We review every submission and update our pages as properties open and developments progress.

Whether you're searching for a new luxury resort on Florida's Gulf Coast, a boutique hotel opening in Nashville or Austin, a landmark reopening like the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, or simply want to know what's been built in a city before you book — Stay In The New is the most current, curated source for new hotel discovery in the United States.

Know a Newly Opened Hotel?

We're constantly updating our directory of newly opened hotels across the United States. If you know of a hotel that recently opened or is opening soon, we'd love to review it and potentially add it to the site.
