Super Bowl LXI is Sunday, February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood — the second Super Bowl at SoFi and the first ever played on Valentine’s Day. The only hotel inside the Hollywood Park complex, Kali Hotel & Rooftop, has pushed its opening to this winter and isn’t taking reservations yet, so most visitors should book the LAX corridor now and treat Kali as a bonus. Will the Kali Hotel Be Open for the Super Bowl?
Kali Hotel & Rooftop, Autograph Collection is a $300 million, 13-story Marriott hotel at 3737 Stadium Drive — 300 rooms including 34 suites, a rooftop pool, a spa and three restaurants, overlooking the Hollywood Park lake toward SoFi Stadium. It is the only hotel permitted within the Hollywood Park plan, which is why so many Super Bowl guides lead with it.
The problem is timing. Kali was widely reported for September 2026, but its official site now says opening this winter, and as of late September it is not bookable on the major booking sites. The developer has said it will be ready before the game — but a hotel that opens weeks before a Super Bowl typically holds much of its inventory for the league, sponsors and partners. Don’t build a trip around it.
Where the Record Is Wrong
“Kali opens September 2026.” That was the target. The hotel’s own site now says this winter, and it is not yet bookable.
“Book the Kali now.” You can’t yet. Anyone promising Kali Super Bowl rooms today is selling a package, not a hotel reservation.
“No other hotels near SoFi.” The LAX corridor, about three miles away, has had the biggest renovation spend in Los Angeles, with thousands of freshly redone rooms.

Where to Stay in LA for the Super Bowl, by Area
Inglewood and Hollywood Park
Walking distance is the dream, but until Kali Hotel & Rooftop opens and confirms public availability, the options inside the complex are nil and the surrounding Inglewood hotels are older and limited.
The LAX corridor — about three miles
The practical base for most fans. Hilton Los Angeles Airport, Sonesta Los Angeles Airport LAX and Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles Airport are all freshly renovated or reflagged, with airport shuttles for fly-in, fly-out trips.
Beverly Hills and West Hollywood — 10 to 12 miles
For a luxury weekend around the game and Valentine’s Day, Cameo Beverly Hills and The Valorian Los Angeles on the Sunset Strip are the newest high-end addresses. Plan game-day transport well ahead.
Downtown and Santa Monica — 10 to 12 miles
Downtown’s AC Hotel + Moxy Downtown Los Angeles and Santa Monica’s Sandbourne Santa Monica are established favorites rather than new openings, and both put the game a long rideshare away on the busiest traffic day of the year.

Super Bowl LXI is Sunday, February 14, 2027 — Valentine’s Day — at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. It is the second Super Bowl at SoFi, after Super Bowl LVI in 2022.
It is not confirmed. Kali Hotel & Rooftop was targeting September 2026, but its official site now says it opens this winter, and it is not yet bookable. If it opens in time, it will be the only hotel inside the Hollywood Park complex next to SoFi Stadium.
Until Kali opens, the closest large hotels are in the LAX corridor about three miles away, including the renovated Hilton Los Angeles Airport, Sonesta Los Angeles Airport LAX and Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles Airport. A handful of older Inglewood properties sit closer but offer far less.
About four miles. The drive is normally 10 to 15 minutes, but Super Bowl weekend road closures and traffic can make it much longer, so plan extra time.
As soon as your plans firm up. Rooms near SoFi Stadium are among the first to go for any Super Bowl, and Valentine’s Day weekend adds a second layer of demand. Watch for multi-night minimums on the weekend of February 12–15.
SoFi Stadium hosted FIFA World Cup matches in summer 2026, hosts Super Bowl LXI in February 2027, and will be a key venue for the LA28 Olympics — three major events in three years.
