Clearwater Beach, FL — America's Best Beach Gets New Hotels

Clearwater Beach holds the title of America's Best Beach from USA Today — and it now has the hotels to match. Opal Sol Resort opened February 14, 2025 as the most significant new Gulf-front hotel arrival on Clearwater Beach in years. The 248-suite all-Gulf-view property is connected to the adjacent Opal Sands Resort via a glass sky bridge, giving guests access to four pools, 10 dining concepts, two full-service spas, and 106,000+ sq ft of combined event space. The Hiatus Clearwater Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton(2024) adds a design-forward boutique option with a 7th-floor rooftop pool and Ocean Seven fine dining with a nightly Champagne sunset toast. Destin & the Emerald Coast, FL — The Panhandle Levels Up

Destin's famous emerald-green water and sugar-white quartz sand have long attracted visitors — but the hotel infrastructure has lagged behind the destination's natural beauty. That's changing.
